Kids Summer Time Bucket List

We aren’t taking a full summer off of homeschooling. We got a little behind because of our move. We don’t have too much more to do but, my plan is to do at least 3 days a week. We will take several full week breaks in there though. Mainly for MY sanity. My kids forget how to divide over a long weekend so they’d forget everything over a long summer break. 😉 Plus, I like to take breaks whenever we want during the school year and not tied to a strict schedule. I see it as a win win.

  • Make homemade moon sand
  • Make homemade spray chalk
  • Make homemade bubbles
  • Lego challenges
  • Make homemade bird feeders with birdseed
  • Blow paint monsters
  • Make invisible ink
  • Make homemade bouncy balls
  • Go swimming
  • Go to the lake
  • Go fishing
  • Go to homeschool play dates
  • Library reading program
  • Cooking/baking
  • Learn how to crochet
  • Sewing projects

I would like to do a small project with them on most days. The Girl’s love to make things homemade and I think the biggest hit will be the bouncy ball. What kid doesn’t love a good bouncy ball? But to make your own, now they’re gonna think that’s pretty cool.

I got the first eight of these ideas from Pinterest. They have been resting on my boards so I think it’s time to see how they work. I’ll let you know.

Until next time,
